Best Sausage Gravy

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 lb sausage
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 crumble uncooked breakfast sausage in a heavy skillet and brown.
  • 2 pour off most of the fat.
  • 3 sprinkle flour over the cooked sausage and mix with the fat remaining in the pan. cook a few minutes to eliminate any raw flour taste.
  • 4 add milk and stir as the gravy starts to thicken.
  • 5 add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 6 spoon the gravy over biscuits and eat. it's some good!
