Chili Rellenos

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 12 ounces canned whole green chilies
  • 10 ounces cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 separate the eggs, beat the whites until stiff then fold in the yolks, water and flour.
  • 2 remove seeds and clean chilies, then stuff with cheese.
  • 3 spoon a portion of the egg mixture (large enough to support a chili) onto a heated frying pan then place a chili on top of the mixture. then add another portion of egg mixture on top of the chili.
  • 4 brown one side then the other.
