Breakfast Gravy For Biscuits

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2 lbs breakfast sausage 
- 4 tablespoons flour 
- 2 cups milk 
- 1/2 cup buttermilk 
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed black peppercorns 
-  salt 
Recipe
- 1 brown sausage and break up into bite size pieces. 
- 2 cook until fully done. 
- 3 add flour to the sausage and grease and cook until it has a pasty consistency. 
- 4 add milk very slowly to sausage making sure to mix well and avoid lumps. 
- 5 cook on medium heat stirring occasionally until it is a thick gravy. 
- 6 finally add buttermilk pepper and salt to taste. 
- 7 let the gravy once again thicken for about 5 minutes on medium heat.
