Ingredients
- 1 cup dried cherries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/4 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon cold water
- 3 tablespoons brandy
Recipe
- 1 in a saucepan combine the cherries, the sugar and 1 1/2 cups water and simmer for 10 minutes or until the liquid is reduced to 1 cup.
- 2 mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water and add it to the cherry mixture, and simmer the mixture, stirring, for 2 minutes.
- 3 add the brandy and stir it in.
- 4 chill.
