Classic Quiche (70's Style)

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 9" unbaked pie shell
  • 2 cups shredded swiss cheese (8 ounces)
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Recipe

  • 1 place bacon in pie shell, then sprinkle in cheese.
  • 2 in bowl, beat together eggs, half-and-half, salt and pepper.
  • 3 pour over the cheese.
  • 4 break cold butter into small pieces over top.
  • 5 bake in 375 oven 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • 6 allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.
