Classic Quiche (70's Style)

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 9" unbaked pie shell
- 2 cups shredded swiss cheese (8 ounces)
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
Recipe
- 1 place bacon in pie shell, then sprinkle in cheese.
- 2 in bowl, beat together eggs, half-and-half, salt and pepper.
- 3 pour over the cheese.
- 4 break cold butter into small pieces over top.
- 5 bake in 375 oven 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
- 6 allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.
