Candied Walnut Chicken Salad

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless, cooked and chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup candied walnuts, finely chopped (see chef's note below)
- 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 1. mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
- 2 2. cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- 3 3. chef's note: to candy walnuts, add 2 teaspoons butter and 1/2 cup walnuts to saute pan. sprinkle 1 teaspoon sugar over walnuts. warm over medium heat until walnuts are toasted and sugar carmelized (approx. 10 minutes).
