Chocolate Slice

Total Time: 23 mins Preparation Time: 8 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 125 g butter (melted)
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 180c. grease a 20cm x 30cm tin.
  • 2 melt butter,sift flour,baking powder into a bowl. stir in cocoa,coconut and sugar. stir in melted butter and mix well. a little extra butter may be needed if it feels a bit dry. press firmly into tin.
  • 3 bake 10-15 minutes.
  • 4 ice while warm and cut into squares.
  • 5 a little extra coconut can be sprinkled over the top of the icing if desired.
