Baked Macaroni And Cheese

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese (i use velveeta)
  • 8 ounces macaroni

Recipe

  • 1 in 2 quart saucepan melt margarine over low heat. stir in flour, salt, mustard & pepper until smooth. remove from heat. gradually stir in mild until smooth, stirring constantly over medium heat. heat about 10 minutes. remove from heat & stir in cheese until thickened. turn macaroni into greased 2 quart casserole. pour cheese over macaroni & mix well.bake @ 375 for 25 or until top is light brown. sometimes i top with more shredded cheese & paprika.
