Brussels Sprouts In Beer

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb brussels sprout, fresh
  • beer, any brand,to cover
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 trim and wash sprouts.
  • 2 place in a medium-size saucepan and pour enough beer over them to cover.
  • 3 bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until tender.
  • 4 add more beer if needed, as liquid evaporates.
  • 5 drain; add salt and butter.
  • 6 serve hot.
