Country Sausage Gravy

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 sausage patties
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a skillet fry all the sausage patties over medium heat until cooked through. remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • 2 stir the flour into the sausage drippings. slowly add the milk and salt and pepper to taste. stir constantly and more milk if necessary.
  • 3 crumble the cooked sausage into the gravy mixture. continue stirring until the gravy is rich and creamy.
  • 4 serve over toast or biscuits.
