- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cornmeal
- 3 tablespoons shortening
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 lb frankfurter
Recipe
- 1 mix together in order given using only 1 cup of flour.
- 2 roll franks in 1/2 cup flour then dip in batter.
- 3 fry in deep fat until brown.
- 4 drain on absorbent paper.
- 5 serve with mustard.
