Cherry Cream Fudge

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chopped candied cherry

Recipe

  • 1 in heavy 4 quart saucepan; combine first 6 ingredients.
  • 2 bring to a boil, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.
  • 3 reduce heat to low.
  • 4 cook, stirring occasionally until soft ball stage.
  • 5 remove from heat.
  • 6 add vanilla and marshmallow cream.
  • 7 stir well, then add pecans and cherries.
  • 8 spread in buttered 8x8-inch pan.
