Cherry Cream Fudge

Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 cup marshmallow cream
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup chopped candied cherry
Recipe
- 1 in heavy 4 quart saucepan; combine first 6 ingredients.
- 2 bring to a boil, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.
- 3 reduce heat to low.
- 4 cook, stirring occasionally until soft ball stage.
- 5 remove from heat.
- 6 add vanilla and marshmallow cream.
- 7 stir well, then add pecans and cherries.
- 8 spread in buttered 8x8-inch pan.
