- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1 1/4 cups scalded milk
- 1 tablespoon butter

- 2 add beaten egg.
- 3 mix.
- 4 add hot milk.
- 5 cook over hot water 12-15 mins.
- 6 add butter and vinegar.
- 7 beat smooth.
- 8 chill.
- 9 thin with milk or french dressing iff too thick.
