Creamed Spinach Steak-house Style

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb frozen chopped spinach, thawed, if frozen, excess moisture squeezed out
- 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup half-and-half
- salt
- pepper, to taste
Recipe
- 1 melt butter and add flour.
- 2 cook until mixture becomes light tan (about 5 minutes) stirring constantly.
- 3 add the half& half.
- 4 bring to a low boil and cook, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
- 5 season sauce w/salt& pepper.
- 6 add spinach to the sauce and cook abt. 5 more minutes to blend flavors.
- 7 serve hot.
