Chicken Curry Pies

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 pie crusts, cut into 1/4 's
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 lbs ground chicken
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 diced onion
  • 14 1/2 ounces chopped tomatoes

Recipe

  • 1 saute onions in oil until tender. add garlic and ginger and saute 30 sec.
  • 2 add spices and stir together. add tomatoes and 1/2 c water. stir.
  • 3 add chicken and cook through.
  • 4 done when the water is cooked out.
  • 5 put 2 t of meat on ea. piece of pie crust. fold over and seal.
  • 6 bake at 400 for 10-12 minute.
