Chicken Curry With Spinach

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/4 pint double cream
  • 8 ounces spinach

Recipe

  • 1 in a large pan heat the oil and fry the onion and garlic till golden brown.
  • 2 add the tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  • 3 add the chicken and spices and fry for 5 minutes.
  • 4 season with the salt and pepper, add the spinach and cream and cook till chicken is tender, about 10 minutes.
  • 5 for a main course serve with boiled rice, as a supper dish serve with toast.
