Black Pepper Martini

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 ounces hendricks gin
  • 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
  • ice
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorn
  • 1 tablespoon cracked black peppercorns

Recipe

  • 1 for black peppercorn syrup:.
  • 2 combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar has dissolved.
  • 3 bring to a boil and then reduce heat to bring mixture to a simmer; cook for 20 minutes. remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
