Baked Tofu Nuggets

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 lb extra firm tofu
  • 3 tablespoons wheat germ
  • 2 tablespoons cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400f degrees.
  • 2 cut the tofu into 3/4" cubes.
  • 3 blot with paper towels to remove excess water.
  • 4 combine wheat germ, cornmeal, and seasoned salt in mixing bowl.
  • 5 add the tofu chunks and stir gently until coated.
  • 6 place tofu on a slightly oiled non-stick baking sheet.
  • 7 bake for 15 minutes, stirring and turning once or twice until tofu is golden brown.
  • 8 serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce (i like marinara).
