Cranberries In Port Wine Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 24 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 3 cups port wine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 dash dried orange peel
  • 1 dash ground cloves

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in saucepan.
  • 2 bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes till cranberries "pop.".
  • 3 serve warm over turkey or lamb (if you can stop yourself from eating it all up with a spoon right from the pan)!
