Chilighetti

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (7 ounce) package spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed, and drained
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 (8 ounce) envelope chili seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Recipe

  • 1 cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  • 2 in a large skillet, cook beef, and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink.
  • 3 drain spaghetti, and add to meat mixture.
  • 4 stir in the beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, water, chili seasoning, and parmesan cheese.
  • 5 cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 6 sprinkle with mozzerella cheese.
