Chili-getti

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans hormel chili (with or without beans)
  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • catsup, if desired
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded, plus additional
  • hot freshly-cooked spaghetti

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f. grease a 9' x 9" baking dish.
  • 2 brown the beef in a large skillet, breaking it up as it cooks. one cookbook author refers to this as "scramble-fry.".
  • 3 combine the drained beef with the chili, sour cream and cheese. transfer to prepared baking dish.
  • 4 top dish with more shredded cheese. drizzle with catsup, if desired.
  • 5 bake in preheated oven until bubbly, about 20 minutes.
  • 6 serve atop hot cooked spaghetti.
