Chili...so Good!!

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes, do not drain
  • 1 (16 ounce) can dark red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 -3 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • i like it super spicy so i like to use some ground red pepper and more chili powder

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan cook ground beef, onion, green pepper, and garlic until meat is brown.
  • 2 stir in undrained diced tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, basil, salt and pepper.
  • 3 bring to boiling, reduce heat.
  • 4 cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 5 makes 4 main dish servings.
