Curried Hash

Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
Recipe
- 1 combine oil, ground beef, and onion in frying pan.
- 2 brown, stirring frequentlty to break up.
- 3 sprinkle with salt, pepper, and sage.
- 4 stir in flour until well mixed with beef mixture.
- 5 add milk all at once.
- 6 stir as mixture boils and thickens.
- 7 stir in curry powder.
- 8 add more liquid if needed, especially if reheating.
- 9 serve with rice or oodles of noodles.
