Curried Hash

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder

Recipe

  • 1 combine oil, ground beef, and onion in frying pan.
  • 2 brown, stirring frequentlty to break up.
  • 3 sprinkle with salt, pepper, and sage.
  • 4 stir in flour until well mixed with beef mixture.
  • 5 add milk all at once.
  • 6 stir as mixture boils and thickens.
  • 7 stir in curry powder.
  • 8 add more liquid if needed, especially if reheating.
  • 9 serve with rice or oodles of noodles.
