Arrowroot Biscuits

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 18
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 cup arrowroot
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter or margarine and sugar.
  • 2 beat in egg and vanilla.
  • 3 stir remaining ingredients together and add. mix well.
  • 4 roll 1/8 inch thick on floured surface.
  • 5 cut into 2 1/2 inch rounds.
  • 6 prick with fork.
  • 7 grease baking sheet.
  • 8 bake in 350 degree f (175 degrees c) oven until golden, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • 9 allow a bit more baking time if rolled thicker.
