Creamy Peas With Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 3 cups frozen green peas
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup pimiento, diced
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
Recipe
- 1 prepare peas according to cooking directions.
- 2 saute mushrooms in butter/margarine until tender; drain.
- 3 place all ingredients except for whipping cream in saucepan.
- 4 cover and simmer for 10 minutes; drain.
- 5 add whipping cream and continue to cook for 1 minute.
