Creamy Peas With Mushrooms

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
• 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
• 3 cups frozen green peas
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/4 cup pimiento, diced
• 1/4 teaspoon sugar
• 1/4 cup whipping cream

Recipe

• 1 prepare peas according to cooking directions.
• 2 saute mushrooms in butter/margarine until tender; drain.
• 3 place all ingredients except for whipping cream in saucepan.
• 4 cover and simmer for 10 minutes; drain.
• 5 add whipping cream and continue to cook for 1 minute.
