Basic Chinese Steamed Eggs

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup water (can use 3/4 cup for harder egg and 1 1/4 cup water if you want really soft eggs, etc in between, to )
- 1 dash salt (half tsp)
- 1 dash pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon black vinegar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
Recipe
- 1 whisk eggs, water, salt, and pepper in bowl or cup.
- 2 place bowl in steamer (simple way to do this is to bring water to a boil in a pot and place the bowl in the pot on a stand and close the lid, if you don't have a steamer available).
- 3 steam for 15 minutes.
- 4 add vinegar and sesame oil, and mix up with a spoon and eat. i know not everyone likes the vinegar. it has a special flavor. leave it out if you wish. i do leave it out if i add goodies like mushrooms and stuff.
