Barvarian Sauerkraut Casserole

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/2 lbs lamb tenderloin, cut in 1 inch cubes
- 1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup sour cream
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325°.
- 2 melt margarine in skillet over medium heat.
- 3 add onion and cook until tender. remove onions; add lamb and brown well.
- 4 combine onions, lamb, and sauerkraut in 1 1/2 quart casserole.
- 5 cover and bake for one hour.
- 6 when ready to serve, blend in sour cream and nutmeg.
