Barvarian Sauerkraut Casserole

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 lbs lamb tenderloin, cut in 1 inch cubes
  • 1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325°.
  • 2 melt margarine in skillet over medium heat.
  • 3 add onion and cook until tender. remove onions; add lamb and brown well.
  • 4 combine onions, lamb, and sauerkraut in 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  • 5 cover and bake for one hour.
  • 6 when ready to serve, blend in sour cream and nutmeg.
