Cheesy Drop Biscuits

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (or more if you like it more garlic)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • additional parmesan cheese (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 pre-heat oven to 450°f.
  • 2 in a large bowl shift together the first 5 ingredients then.
  • 3 add both cheeses.
  • 4 in a small bowl combine buttermilk and oil.
  • 5 add to dry ingredients just until moist.
  • 6 drop about 1/4 cup full of batter on to a greased baking sheet. (sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese if desired).
  • 7 bake at 450°f for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. serve warm (taste best that way) refrigerate any left-over biscuits.
