Country Chicken On A Biscuit

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups water
  • 6 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 10 ounces mixed vegetables, frozen in butter sauce
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 dash turmeric

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, combine 2 c water and bouillon, heat until bouillon dissolves.
  • 2 remove frozen vegetables from pouch and add to broth and heat until thawed.
  • 3 combine flour and the 1/2 cup water; stir intil smooth.
  • 4 add to broth vegetable mixtue.
  • 5 heat stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth.
  • 6 add remaining ingredients and heat through.
  • 7 serve with hot baking powder biscuits.
