Baked Cabbage

Ingredients

- 2 medium sized heads of cabbage
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 3/4 cup shredded american cheese
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 core cabbage and cut into 2x2 pieces. steam for 8-9 minutes.
- 3 remove cabbage from steamer (careful-very hot) and place in mixing bowl with all other ingredients except cheeses. mix thoroughly.
- 4 place cabbage mixture in 9x9 casserole dish and pack firmly so it is even with the top of pan.
- 5 sprinkle cheeses evenly over top of cabbage.
- 6 bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheeses start to melt and turn golden brown.
- 7 remove from oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
- 8 enjoy!
