Country Fried Steak

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup cracker crumb
  • 4 cube steaks
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk

Recipe

  • 1 mix flour, salt, and pepper.
  • 2 put buttermilk in shallow bowl.
  • 3 put crumbs in another bowl.
  • 4 coat steaks with flour, then buttermilk, and then crumbs.
  • 5 cook in hot oil for 5-6 minutes a side.
  • 6 remove and keep warm.
  • 7 to skillet add soup and milk; bring to a boil, stirring.
  • 8 serve steaks with the gravy.
