Cowboy Barbecue Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 28 ounces heinz ketchup
  • 12 ounces chili sauce
  • 1/3 cup dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups red wine vinegar
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup steak sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 (12 ounce) can beer
  • 3 garlic cloves (crushed, not sliced)

Recipe

  • 1 bring all ingredients except garlic in sauce pan and heat to a light boil.
  • 2 remove from heat and cool.
  • 3 add garlic and stir well.
  • 4 pour into pint jars to store.
  • 5 can be kept for several weeks in the fridge, for longer storage, freeze in freezer.
