Chili Cheese Puffs

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • salt (to taste)
  • 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies (drained)
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (1/4 cup less if you fresh chilies)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup rice krispies

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 mix together in a bowl: egg, milk, salt (if using) cheese and the drained chillies.
  • 3 sift the flour together with the baking powder over the bowl and mix well.
  • 4 now add the rice krispies, and mix again.
  • 5 place rounded teaspoons on greased but better still, lined with parchment paper, baking trays and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
