Carrots With Cumin

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 3 large carrots, cut into 1/2 inch chunks (very large)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- fresh ground black pepper (several grinds)
Recipe
- 1 cook carrots in boiling salted water until just tender.
- 2 melt butter in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat.
- 3 add salt, pepper and cumin seeds. stir until seeds begin to sizzle and pop.
- 4 add carrots, stir until carrots are thoroughly coated with mixture and are heated through.
- 5 serve.
