Copper Pennies

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can tomato soup
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Recipe

  • 1 cook carrots 8 to 10 minutes; drain.
  • 2 mix all ingredients well and add to the carrots while carrots are still hot, so the sugar will melt completely.
  • 3 refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
