Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 head cabbage, shredded
  • 2 onions, grated
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons celery seeds
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup oil (i use mazola)

Recipe

  • 1 mix together salad ingredients. sprinkle with sugar and let stand while making the dressing.
  • 2 bring dressing ingredients (except oil), to a boil. add oil and boil for 30 seconds. pour over cabbage mixture while still hot. stir well and refrigerate. keeps for 14 days.
