Asparagus Oriental

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 slices gingerroot (thin slices)
  • 3 cups asparagus
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup toasted almond

Recipe

  • 1 heat skillet or wok; add oil and gingerroot.
  • 2 when ginger is hot, romove.
  • 3 slice asparagus, on a slant, in 1 1/2 inch pieces; add to oil.
  • 4 sprinkle with salt and pepper and cover.
  • 5 lift skillet slightly above heat and shake constantly while cooking.
  • 6 cook 4 to 5 minutes utnil crisp tender.
  • 7 add toasted almonds.
