Curry Omelette For One

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons chopped chives (approx.)
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder (sieve it if it's lumpy)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 beat egg in a small bowl.
  • 2 mix in chives, curry powder and water.
  • 3 heat a small pan to a high heat. heat oil once hot.
  • 4 add egg mixture to hot. let it cook for five to ten minutes, 'scuffing' it occasionally so that it doesn't stick. the bottom should become solid and quite browned.
  • 5 slide the bottom of the omelette onto a plate. hold the pan over the plate, then flip them so the raw side of the omelette is face down on the pan.
  • 6 cook for another five or so minutes - until the bottom is as browned as the top.
  • 7 eat !
