Chocolate Cranberry Truffles

Ingredients
- 9 ounces semisweet chocolate
- 1/2 cup jellied cranberry sauce
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Recipe
- 1 place chocolate, cranberry sauce and heavy cream in a medium saucepan.
- 2 cook over medium-low heat until sauce is smooth, whisking frequently.
- 3 remove from heat and pour into a glass or plastic bowl.
- 4 cover with plastic wrap.
- 5 let sit at room temperature to thicken.
- 6 combine cocoa and 1 1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar on a small plate.
- 7 scoop out a rounded teaspoonful of chocolate mixture.
- 8 roll in cocoa, coating throroughly.
- 9 dust hands with powdered sugar.
- 10 roll truffle in hands to form a 1-inch ball.
- 11 continue forming truffles with remaining chocolate mixture.
- 12 store in tightly covered contanier until ready to serve.
- 13 before serving remove and place in decorative paper holders.
