Barb's Sauteed Swiss Chard

Ingredients
- Servings: 3
- 1 lb swiss chard
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 -3 teaspoons minced garlic
- salt & pepper
Recipe
- 1 wash swiss chard, cut the stems into 1 1/2 to 2 inch pieces.
- 2 chop the green part into 2 to 3 inch pieces.
- 3 heat olive oil in skillet add garlic and the stems of the chard; saute until stems start to get tender.
- 4 add the green leaves saute with cover on skillet,stir, saute for about 3 minutes(water clinging to leaves is enough moisture) until wilted, do not over cook.
- 5 serve, good served with a little vinegar.
