Bran Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-bran cereal
- 4 cups bran buds
- 2 cups hot water
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 quart buttermilk
- 5 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 cups flour
Recipe
- 1 pour all bran and bran buds into a large bowl, cover with water and let soften for 10-15 minutes.
- 2 preheat oven to 400'.
- 3 in another bowl cream together sugar, butter, eggs, milk and soda.
- 4 add creamed mixture to bran and add flour. mix very well.
- 5 spoon batter into muffin tins filling completely.
- 6 bake for 18-20 minutes for regular sized muffins.
- 7 cool on wire rack.
