Bran Graham Muffins

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-bran cereal
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins, coarsely cut
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 measure all dry ingredients into bowl. mix in raisins.
  • 2 in another bowl beat egg until frothy.
  • 3 add oil, molasses, buttermilk and vanilla, and beat to mix.
  • 4 pour wet ingredients over dry ingredients, and stir just enough to moisten.
  • 5 spoon greased muffin tins, filling 3/4 full.
  • 6 bake in 375 f oven for 20 minutes.
