Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 cup dark sweet cherry, pitted (fresh or frozen, thawed)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Recipe
- 1 mix sugar, cornstarch and allspice in a medium skillet.
- 2 stir in cherries, water, , and lemon juice.
- 3 stir over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- 4 serve warm.
