Bobbye's German Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup crisco
- 3 egg yolks
- 7 egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 bar german sweet chocolate
- 1/2 cup oleo
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 melt german sweet chocolate bar in oleo. add in vanilla. mix in remaining ingredients. fold in egg whites. bake in 3 8" round pans for 30 minutes at 375.
- 2 hint: beat egg whites first. use same beaters without washing.
