Bonnie's Best Meatloaf

Total Time: 1 hr 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in a medium skillet.
  • 2 cook onions& garlic until tender; reserve.
  • 3 combine eggs with milk& bread crumbs.
  • 4 add onion mixture& remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • 5 press into a 9" x 5" loaf pan& cover with foil.
  • 6 bake in a preheated 375f oven for an hour.
  • 7 combine glaze ingredients in a small bowl.
  • 8 drain off any fat from meatloaf& brush glaze on top.
  • 9 bake for an additional 30 minutes, uncovered.
