British "fudge"

Ingredients

- 8 ounces digestive biscuits or 8 ounces whole wheat biscuits, crushed
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup
- 1 cup chocolate chips, melted
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in saucepan.
- 2 add sugar, syrup and condensed milk.
- 3 bring to a boil and simmer for 8 minutes.
- 4 beat until thick, about 1 minute.
- 5 add crushed biscuits.
- 6 spread in 8x8 square pan and cool for 10 minutes.
- 7 cover with melted chocolate.
