British "fudge"

Total Time: 23 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 8 ounces digestive biscuits or 8 ounces whole wheat biscuits, crushed
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, melted

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in saucepan.
  • 2 add sugar, syrup and condensed milk.
  • 3 bring to a boil and simmer for 8 minutes.
  • 4 beat until thick, about 1 minute.
  • 5 add crushed biscuits.
  • 6 spread in 8x8 square pan and cool for 10 minutes.
  • 7 cover with melted chocolate.
