Ingredients
- 1 lb raisins
- 2 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups (use a good brand)
Recipe
- 1 in large saucepan, combine raisins, water, and cinnamon stick and bring to a boil.
- 2 turn down heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
- 3 add sugar and stir until dissolved.
- 4 remove from heat and cool.
- 5 stir in , and remove cinnamon stick.
- 6 pour into 4 clean pint jars and seal tightly.
- 7 let stand at least 3 months for the best results.
