Bone-building Smoothie

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 cup ice cube
  • 2/3 cup fat-free evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries (or 1/2 a banana) or 1/2 cup frozen berries (or 1/2 a banana)
  • 1/4 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 (36 g) packet vanilla instant breakfast drink mix (or strawberry)

Recipe

  • 1 place ice, evaporated milk, berries and/or banana, yogurt and carnation instant breakfast in blender; cover.
  • 2 blend until smooth.
  • 3 kid-favorite variations:.
  • 4 - use 1/2 cup berry or apple flavor juicy juice in addition to evaporated milk and proceed as above.
  • 5 - use 2 tablespoons nestlé nesquik strawberry flavor syrup in addition to carnation instant breakfast and proceed as above.
