Boiled Chocolate Cherry Cake

Ingredients
- 1 (450 g) can stoneless black cherries, do not drain
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 125 g butter
- 2 1/2 cups mixed dried fruit
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup plain flour, sifted
- 1 cup self raising flour, sifted
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 beaten eggs
Recipe
- 1 put cherries and juice,butter,sugar,dried fruit and cinnamon in large pot.
- 2 simmer together for 10 minutes.
- 3 allow to cool.
- 4 add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- 5 line a 20cm cake tin well with baking paper.
- 6 bake at 165 degrees celsius.
- 7 bake for 1 1/2 hours or till cooked.
- 8 cool in tin.
