Bohemian Raised Doughnuts

Total Time: 4 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 4 hrs Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted lard
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 6 cups flour, approximately

Recipe

  • 1 blend yeast with 2 teaspoons sugar.
  • 2 add lukewarm milk, sugar, and enough flour to make a thin sponge.
